SALES EXECUTIVE

About Us

Turnkey Consulting is an independent risk and security consultancy that brings together people, protection, and performance to help organisations achieve Digital Enterprise Resilience. For more than 20 years, Turnkey has enabled the world’s leading companies to understand and optimise their risk and security landscape through assessment-based road mapping, organisational empowerment, and expert application of market-leading technologies. Turnkey is headquartered in London with offices across Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America.

About the Role

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Sales Executive to join our team. This role is key to ensuring our sales process runs smoothly, converting existing opportunities into revenue, and supporting the long-term success of our clients. This role is less about cold sales and more about coordinating and managing our existing sales pipeline — ensuring proposals are delivered on time, stakeholders are kept up to date, and opportunities move smoothly through the pipeline.

You’ll work closely with our Sales, Pre-Sales, and Delivery teams to coordinate activities, gather the right information, and help shape proposals that reflect both client needs and Turnkey’s approach. While you won’t be expected to be a technical expert, you’ll need to understand our services well enough to translate ideas into actionable sales activities and clear client communication.

ShapeWhat You’ll Be Doing

  • Pipeline Management: Take ownership of progressing and converting existing opportunities in our sales pipeline, focusing on proposal development and follow-up
  • Proposal Coordination: Work with subject matter experts, Pre-Sales, and Delivery teams to gather relevant content and create compelling proposals that address client challenges.
  • Account Management: Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships. Act as a reliable point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring everyone stays informed and aligned.
  • Sales Process Coordination: Proactively manage the sales process end-to-end, from discovery calls through proposal submission to contract signature—ensuring deadlines and next steps are always clear.
  • Internal Collaboration: Facilitate smooth communication between Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and approach.
  • Proactive Engagement: Instigate opportunities for deeper engagement with existing clients, rather than simply reacting to inbound requests.
  • Reporting & Updates: Keep key stakeholders updated on deal status, next steps, and potential risks to ensure everyone has full visibility.
  • Contribute to Sales Strategy: Support the ongoing refinement of Turnkey’s sales process and help shape how we engage with clients.

ShapeWhat We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings diligence, organisation, and a proactive mindset, and who takes pride in keeping things moving and delivering a first-class client experience.

Key Attributes

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to keep multiple deals on track
  • Proactive communicator with the ability to keep clients and teams aligned without being prompted, using a mix of phone calls, email and other creative ways to engage
  • Confident managing proposals and coordinating input from various stakeholders
  • Comfortable translating complex discussions into clear next steps and deliverables
  • A natural relationship builder, with the ability to gain the trust of both clients and colleagues
  • Content to find, socialise and engage with prospects and clients in conference and other networking scenarios
  • Motivated by seeing things through to completion and achieving tangible results

Experience

  • Previous experience in a Sales Operations, Account Management, or Proposal Management role—ideally within consulting, cybersecurity, or technology services
  • Some proven ability to coordinate complex sales processes and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience managing proposals and responding to client requirements
  • Identifying, engaging and intel gathering across client prospects and client stakeholders from social media, to conferences to one-to-one meetings
  • Exposure to Risk Management, Identity & Access Management, or Cybersecurity services is helpful, but not essential
  • Experience with RFI and RFP processes is desirable but not essential

Shape What Success Looks Like

  • Within your first 3 months: You’ll understand Turnkey’s services and processes, be familiar with your deals, and take ownership of proposal coordination and opportunity tracking
  • After 6 months: You’ll be proactively managing client relationships with some of the world’s leading brands, owning the proposal development, and ensuring deals progress smoothly through the pipeline.
  • After 12 months: You’ll be a key member of the sales team, contributing to improvements in how we manage sales operations, taking on further accounts, mentoring newer team members, and helping to shape Turnkey’s future client engagement strategy.
  • In approximately 12-24 months, your career development might see you follow a path in specialising as an Account Manager for key accounts you helped to secure in your first 12-24 months or begin to move towards some Sales Management responsibilities, if new junior Sales talent joins Turnkey which you could mentor.
