The nature of projects will be diverse and will vary across the categories of advisory, assurance, managed services and system implementation. Whilst being actively engaged in solving business problems, our core practice remains specialised in technical solutions for our clients.
The Role
We seek a collaborative and passionate individual committed to contributing to Turnkey. This dependable person will help grow our IAM practice, foster vendor partnerships, and strengthen client relationships, ensuring successful global project delivery.
The candidate will bring their technical expertise to design and implement end-to-end IAM solutions tailored to client needs. They will also contribute to business development, service definition activities, and play a key role in enhancing the practice’s business performance.
As a Practice Director, there are multiple facets of the role:
- Delivery of core services for clients
- Assisting in the development of new services and go-to-market campaigns
- Supporting the other Practice Directors to mentor and lead the practice team
The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience in advisory, assurance, or consulting services in Enterprise/Consumer Identity Management, with significant expertise in Privileged Access Management (PAM), especially with Delinea (formerly Thycotic)
Delivery of Core Services
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in designing and delivering Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, with a focus on Delinea.
- Implement end-to-end PAM solutions tailored to client needs.
- Provide advisory and consulting services in PAM, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
Supporting Development of New Services
- Develop and enhance PAM service offerings.
- Lead go-to-market campaigns for PAM solutions.
- Collaborate with software vendors to strengthen partnerships.
Mentoring and Leading the Practice Team
- Mentor junior team members in PAM best practices.
- Lead training initiatives and knowledge transfer activities.
- Support business development and service definition activities.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in IAM with a focus on PAM.
- Proven track record of delivering PAM projects, particularly with Delinea.
- Strong understanding of identity lifecycle processes and role-based access control.
- Detailed understanding of IAM and PAM business processes and how they contribute to Enterprise Identity controls.
- Experience with other IAM technologies such as SailPoint IIQ/ISC, Okta, Ping, CyberArk, and Microsoft Entra.
- Experience in pre-sales activities and developing client identity strategies.
- Ability to manage project activities including planning, stakeholder management, and quality assurance.
- Ability to act as a Line Manager for members of the IAM team.
- Ability to effectively manage own time and priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Able to work on positioning business problems and how Turnkey’s Solution catalogue can solve them
- Ability to work with internal teams to convert identified compelling business development opportunities
- Ideally, an Education in Business, IT, IT security or related field
Desirable Attributes
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ITIL.
- Product certifications from Delinea, SailPoint, CyberArk, or other IAM vendors.
- Familiarity with implementation methodologies like PRINCE2 and Agile.
Responsibilities Include
- Working as part of a team to deliver large/complex PAM and IAM implementations across varying project delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Design thinking)
- Configuring PAM solutions to meet client requirements.
- Work with clients to understand their requirements and configure solutions to best fit those needs.
- Work with our clients and senior team to help design and define strategies, business cases, perform system demonstrations, and provide RFP support, when needed.
- When appropriate, assist in our ability to provide support related services to our existing Managed Service Clients
- Advise clients on identity controls relating to regulatory or legislative compliance, e.g., SOX; GDPR; PSD2 etc.
- Build and maintain good relationships with our client project team resources
- Develop and maintain relationships with third parties and vendors, to enhance the relationship with Turnkey and deliver value to our clients
- Provide encouragement, mentoring and support to junior members of the team and provide knowledge transfer activities as part of our training initiatives
- Work with the IAM team to develop internal tools, innovative new propositions and on R&D projects
- When needed, work alongside our Sales, Marketing & Innovation team to provide materials/Pre-Sales support for sales activities
- Writing and reviewing reports and other client-facing deliverables, to a high standard
