The Managing Director role has real breadth, you will be involved in all aspects of running the local business, taking full responsibility for the country P&L. Additionally, this role will play a key role in driving local sales in the India market with a particular focus on Turnkey’s Identity and Access Management services.

About You

The Managing Director role is an Executive Leadership position requiring an all-rounder with a combination of strategic leadership, business development, people management and finance/operational skills.

In this role you will work closely with other members of the Global Leadership team and can expect to have real influence on the strategic direction of the business, alongside operational responsibilities in the day-to-day running of the company in your local market.

Expectations of the Role

The role will involve but is not limited to the following:

Strategic Leadership:

·       Contribute to the development of the company’s strategic direction by providing local market insight, competitive analysis, and industry trends.

·       Execute the company's strategic and long-term business plans to achieve growth targets and maximize profitability by positioning Turnkey’s services to meet local market demand.

·       Foster a culture of quality, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the organization.

Business Development:

·       Work with the Global Sales and Marketing Director/Chief Revenue Officer to lead local sales and marketing efforts to grow revenue in existing clients and expand the company's client base through new client acquisition.

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

·       Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, alliances, and business opportunities to enhance the company's position in the local market.

Client Relationship Management:

·       Maintain a deep understanding of local clients' needs and industry challenges to deliver tailored solutions, exceed client expectations and maintain Turnkey’s high-quality standards.

·       Act as a trusted advisor to key clients, providing strategic guidance and building long-term partnerships.

·       Ensure the highest level of client satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and service quality management.

Financial Management:

·       Take full P&L responsibility for the local territory, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

·       Drive local revenue growth, manage costs, and ensure profitability targets are met.

·       Implement effective financial controls, risk management strategies, and reporting mechanisms.

Compliance and Risk:

·       Support the Global Finance team in any activities required to achieve audit compliance.

·       Fulfil financial and regulatory compliance responsibilities required locally to ensure financial and regulatory compliance obligations are met at both Local and Global entity level.

·       Support the organisation in identifying and managing risk and operating effective internal controls.

Operational Excellence:

·       Support the Capability Leadership in all aspects of the company's operations at a local level, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

·       Foster a culture of operational excellence, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

·       Proactively manage quality and support quality management activities in all Local projects.

Team Leadership:

·       Recruit, develop, and retain top talent according to Capability Leadership’s identified needs.

·       Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the local management team and employees.

·       Promote a high-performance culture, teamwork, collaboration, and a positive work environment.

·       Re-enforce Turnkey’s culture, policies and core values through local teambuilding events and activities.

Reports to: Regional Managing Director

Working closely with: Global Sales and Marketing Director, Global Partner Management, Global/Local Capabilities Leads

Key attributes for this role:

A proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within the cyber/risk management industry.

·       Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of financial management and P&L responsibility.

·       In-depth knowledge of risk management, identity management and cyber security trends, technologies, and industry best practices.

·       Strong knowledge of the local market for our services including local market competition, trends, size, maturity and cultural differences.

·       Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

·       Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

·       Strong business development and client relationship management skills.

Location: Based in Local office, with hybrid working (expected office working three days per week).  Must be prepared to work away from home during the week if required.
