About the Role

We are a 70 people operations in APAC and are seeking an experienced finance professional to support the continued growth of our Southeast Asia business in Cybersecurity Professional Services.

Operating across Singapore, Malaysia and Australia, this role will be responsible for providing financial oversight, commercial support and operational governance across the APAC region.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Director and regional leadership team, providing ownership of financial reporting, budgeting, project financial management, compliance coordination and business administration activities.

This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a growing professional services environment and partnering directly with senior business leaders.

Over time, the position is expected to evolve into a broader regional finance leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

     Prepare monthly management accounts and regional financial reports.

     Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.

     Consolidate financial information across Southeast Asia operations.

     Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.

     Prepare variance analysis and management commentary for leadership review.

     Support cash flow reporting and working capital management.

     Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting activities.

Commercial Finance & Business Partnering

     Partner with business leaders to improve project profitability and financial performance.

     Monitor project revenues, costs, margins and utilisation metrics.

     Support revenue recognition and work-in-progress (WIP) management.

     Review project financial performance and identify margin improvement opportunities.

     Assist with pricing reviews and commercial analysis for proposals and RFP submissions.

     Support contract reviews from a financial and commercial perspective.

     Develop financial models, business cases and scenario analysis where required.

Regional Operations Support

     Coordinate project & financial activities across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Australia.

     Act as a key liaison between the business and external accounting providers in each country.

     Support the implementation and improvement of finance processes and controls.

     Assist with regional reporting requirements and management information requests.

     Maintain financial governance standards across the region.

Tax, Compliance & Audit Coordination

     Coordinate with external advisors and accountants across multiple jurisdictions.

     Support GST, VAT and withholding tax compliance activities.

     Coordinate annual audits and statutory reporting requirements.

     Ensure timely completion of regulatory and compliance obligations.

     Maintain finance policies, procedures and supporting documentation.

Company Secretarial & Corporate Administration

     Coordinate with company secretarial service providers.

     Support annual filings, board resolutions and statutory submissions.

     Maintain corporate records and compliance documentation.

     Assist with banking administration, insurance renewals and corporate registrations.

     Support management of supplier and professional services contracts.

Executive & Leadership Support

     Prepare financial presentations and reports for leadership meetings.

     Support business planning activities and strategic initiatives.

     Assist with executive expense governance and reporting processes.

     Provide ad hoc analysis and support for business growth initiatives.

     Participate in operational improvement and transformation projects.

Skills & Experience

Required

     Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.

     6-12 years of finance experience.

     Experience within professional services, consulting, IT services, engineering services or similar project-based organisations.

     Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.

     Experience with budgeting, forecasting and business partnering.

     Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

     Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

     Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

     Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Preferred

     ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.

     Experience supporting multiple countries across Asia.

     Exposure to project accounting, revenue recognition and utilisation reporting.

     Experience working with external auditors, tax advisors and company secretaries.

     Familiarity with Power BI or financial reporting tools.

     Experience in a consulting or professional services organisation.

Success Measures

Within the first 12 months, the successful candidate will be expected to:

     Establish reliable regional financial reporting processes.

     Improve visibility of project profitability and utilisation metrics.

     Deliver accurate budgets and forecasts for the SEA business.

     Strengthen coordination of tax, audit and compliance activities across the region.

     Reduce administrative and financial-management workload currently undertaken by regional leadership.

     Provide management with actionable commercial insights to support growth.
